flipped snails

How long can snails survive if they get flipped over? i've got some astrea snails which can't flip themselves over

hi i'd say around 16 hrs,if nothing gets em "crabs ,etc" ,get yourself a flippin stick.happy reefing

A quick google search didn't give me any exact information; but, I have had some in the past that had been flipped over for a day or so and were fine. They were close enough to the glass, so I figured that they'd right themselves... sure enough, the next day they were still seeing the world upside down.
Keeping those turbos and astreas right side up is a full time job. It's almost as if they think they're Spiderman or something -crawling upside down and what not, all the time just to fall and wait for me to pick them up.
