Flipper Cleaner - Large

I recently purchased the large Flipper cleaner. Each time I use it, it leaves a glue like residue on the outside of the glass, which is very difficult to remove. I rinsed the cleaner and tried again - but the same effect. Any ideas?

Following along as I am considering springing for one of these for my new build I'm starting.

The only time mine leaves a film is when there’s a little dried salt from a splash. That being said, I always clean the outside glass after using it.
