Hi guys. I’ve just purchased a Red Sea max nano which states it had 8mm glass, I then ordered the flipper std size which is suitable for 12mm as the small one only states suitable for 6mm. This however is massive and covers half my tank 
(ish). Would the small 6mm version really not work or are they being safe with their figures? Does anyone use a nano flipper on 8mm tanks???
