Flipping anemone

I'm trying to remove my anemones by flipping the rock upside down out of the tank with a bowl of water underneath. How long is this going to take. Is it safe.

Try using an ice cube on the foot of the nem, i have had good success with this.

You can also use a dremel and cut a slight piece of the rock off and remove it that was as well.

I'll try ice. Can it be out of water?

I haven't tried it personally but if I had the need this is likely the method I'd try

I'm trying to remove my anemones by flipping the rock upside down out of the tank with a bowl of water underneath. How long is this going to take. Is it safe.

I've done this many times...works like a charm every time.

I usually use my water change bucket and just hold the rock above the water line until the anemone drops into the water. It doesn't take long.

I definitely wouldn't use a bowl that has had dish soap in/on it.
