Float for making water in a bucket

Well we seem to have anything and everything we need these days, do they make anything that fits on a 5 gallon bucket when making water? I could just making something out of a float and PVC but lets see what others have found, it's just more money right?

This is what I made out of a little bit of acrylic and wood.
I made this probably 15 years ago and I still use it.
I originally made it wide enough to fit across the top of a 45 gallon brute can.
Now I use it on a much smaller opening, but it still works just fine.

That is close to what I made to fit on a 5 gallon bucket, but I used PVC. Used it for 10 years.
