I bought two of these from Marine depot. When the water level goes up, they just don’t float up and trigger the apex. If I jiggle them, they float, but obviously I’m not relying on that. Has anyone else had this issue with a float switch? Is this type of switch bad in general? Using it for ATO.

Place them in the tank with all the magnets, and check that the float switch isn’t being pulled in by the magnet.
I had a problem with some float switches because the magnet was so strong it pulled/misaligned the float switch. I used a rubber spacing between the outside magnet and the glass. It’s weird but it happens.

Thanks! I bet your right!

Yes, the magnet being to close to the float was this issue! I shouldn’t have to modify a new product....but it works now.
