Hey guys. I think this is simple but I can’t seem to get it right so someone please help!!! Lol

I am installing a float valve on my RODI unit. I know when the valve is up water should stop coming out of my waste water line as well but it does not stop.

Here’s the current look. Can anyone steer me maybe I placed the one way valve wrong? The other piece was already on here but to my understanding that should shut it off for me.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I can replace the lines pretty easily if I cut the wrong ones to install the valve. Thanks!

Google bulk reef supply auto shutoff installation and you will find a video, albeit rather old video on how to install them on your system.:) your flow restrictor should have an arrow on it for the proper direction so should be easy to find out if some things off there.
