Float Valve for BRS RO/DI Units

this is how it hooks up... if you don't have it, I recommend you pick one up.

yes

You must have an auto shutoff or ASOV valve or the waste will continue to flow. If not only the treated flow is shut off.

What won't fit? An ASOV is pretty small and installs in the existing 1/4" tubing on top of the bracket that holds all the cannisters together. Takes up a couple of square inches and takes about two minutes to install at around $10 cost.

Hi,I have a 5 gallon bucket for reservoir water, can I using from float valve for filing it?
Also I want use from my diy float switch with relay for water level controller in sump . My plan is ok or not?

most RO/DI come with a auto shut off valve... like the one below, 1/4" Automatic shut off valves are used with float valves or pressurized tanks to shut off an Reverse Osmosis system. It utilizes the back pressure created by the float valve or pressurized tank to shut off the water supply to the membrane. Without an automatic shut off valve waste water would continue to run out after the float valve is activated or tank becomes full.
