Hi, just wondering if anyone does a float switch towards the bottom of an ATO container to tell your controller like Apex that topoff water is low? I don't have a way of connecting to a RODI, I just fill the container with 5 gallon water jugs.

I was worried about the wire being under water and not working. Or there should be no problem with the wire connection from the float to the apex getting wet? Wire from float is only 12 inches so it would be connected to another wire going to the apex breakout box. TIA!

That’s what I did. No problems so far for a few years

However the one I did for the return pump failed. I think it has to do with salt water being corrosive and freshwater is not

I currently have a float valve on my ato reservoir..its been there for 12mos now and no issues thus far. It had already saved my system 2x. I set it up to send a notification and to turn off the ato pump when the water is low.

no issues on fresh water but salt water needs to be cleaned every once in a while to free it of buildup residue

I simply ATO my ATO container from my garage RO storage, I set my GHL maxi doser that feeds my tank ATO to have a maximum runtime and I also have a level sensor at the top of the ATO container as a third overflow prevention measure

This is exactly what I did. A little over a year now with zero problems. I see you're also in AZ.
