Floating basket question

so I picked up a plastic basket from Home Depot that's 10" x 7" x 4" and I'm looking to make it float. I'm going to put roughly 1" of black rubble rock in the bottom and use it to hold several rock nems. I'm looking for an esthetically pleasing way to make it float. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I do not want to tie styrofoam to the basket. I know this is the easiest way but i don't like the look of it.

1)I have boughten two different types of PVC in the past, one that floated and one that sank.
2)Or if you can trap air in some sort of makeshift collar , that will make it float.

Doesn’t it need to be free floating, or can it be attached to the side of the tank?

ill probably take some pvc and cap each end to trap air inside.

You could use some pool noodle cut down for fit & not look too bad.

You could push suction cups through the holes and attach to the glass ..

It can be attached to the side of the tank

If you don’t have a rimless tank, you could drill two holes in the rim and attach with black zip ties, I did that with a vertical Frag rack that I made

Or zip tie to overflow. Or ic gell it to back wall.
