Floating corals for acclimation

Hey everyone!
I'm wondering if there is an amount of time that is too long to keep corals floating in the tank.

My wife is home and I am at work and I am expecting a shipment. If she turns off my lights and floats the corals in the bags will they be ok for a couple hours?

Yes they should be fine.

i've floated corals for about 8 hours and they were fine... granted, this was done because i was at work and received the corals before i had to leave.
