I Justed Finished my Floating island ! No magnet !

I Used Fluval sea puddy and lots of light tonga branches !

Does look cool but agree, hope it holds.
I'd be tempted to wedge a couple flat rocks towards overflow to give some vertical support, and epoxy that to rock.

Looks sick. I had something similar and always had a worry in the back of my mind.
I put holes in the 1st(outer) layer of overflow and zip tied the structure to the overflow than puttied in place.

There going to be sand so it not bare bottom , and the putty is really strong and the flat rocks are really light I'm sure I'm good

What putty did you use? I've used reef putty before to attach rocks but after a while i could snap the pieces apart. I'd just be curious if it will hold up after corals grow large on it.

Very nice! But I would throw a kicker in the middle to take some of that weight off. Looks great though!

The problem is not so much the weight of the rock. It's when you apply pressure to glue a coral in place...

The aqua scape looks amazing tho.

Every putty point I let it cute for 2 days before I apply any kind of Waite on it . Now the putty so strong i can just put rocks on it
