Hello everybody
Does anyone have cool pictures of a floating reef ... Would like to convert my Penisula 500 to a floating reef .. or maybe even instructions on how to design a floating reef?

Are you talking about completely floating? Or like some bits of rock touching the ground? I’ve seen this look achieved through cementing/gluing/epoxying the aquascape together then either suspending it via clear cables or mounting them into clear legs that are secured to the bottom of the tank. You can also secure the whole rock work to the back wall of your tank and have it floating like that. Here’s some quick pics from google.

YES! ;Woot
The easiest way is to stick your rocks together, epoxy/cement in some clear acrylic poles, then attach those to clear acrylic cubes that sit on the bottom of the aquarium. Less room for error, less hassle, and not much chance of the whole thing falling and cracking the bottom of your tank (assuming the rocks are cemented together properly). It won’t be as clean as the pics I linked but should give you the floating aesthetic you’re wanting :).

Thanks for your feedback ...

Check out this link, its how coral_fish_zoa on instagram did his fairly simply.

Im doing something very similar rn im just taking to complications and modularity up a few notches. I will try to do a build thread on mine in a month or so assuming it all works out once ive finished

Though this video may not show how to make one, I have a vid to share that displays one of the greatest aquascapes ever made. It should serve as great inspiration.
