Hi I have question was looking through the threads regarding placing large tanks I am in the uk my tank is in an extended part of my living room . the back of my tank is north facing the joists run from north to south so I have about 5 joists running under my tank it is a ground floor with no basement or crawl space tank is a 72 x 30 x24 weighs 183kg empty it is not against a wall as there is not enough room will I have any issues with a tank of this size and weight once full of water and substrate attached a photo of tank and stand in the location where it sits . May be a long shot question but asking any way.

How far off wall?
How big are joists?
Are you sure there’s joists, since you say no basement or crawl space I’d think it’s a concrete slab. Or do you have joists sitting on dirt?

Possibly joist's sitting on dirt cant see the joist's as floor boards arenailed to the joist's to make the floor the right hand side of the tank is about 5 inches from the wall and the left hand side of the tank is 14 inches from the wall so the tank sits in the middle. The location is an extension to my living room it is 8 ft wide and 5ft long with patio doors 29 inches behind the tank.

Without knowing the size and condition of the joists it’s anyone’s guess
