Florida Coral stops?

Hey guys,

In two weeks me and a buddy will be flying into Miami and renting a car to take to Key west. I wanted to hear from you guys what coral shops are worth hitting up on my way through.

After the Keys we will be landing in the Marco island area to do some SW fishing so if there is any around that area please let me know.

reefers direct always has some nice stuff as well.
top shelf has some nice fish, good prices.

I haven't purchased only looked but exotic aquarium on bird road, fairly close the airport is worth a stop to check them out. I don't know the name but right next store was another lfs that might also be worth a look.

Ocean View Aquariums on bird road close to 6th Avenue. That's my lfs I get everything from corals to fish from them. Beautiful store and great selection with extremely knowledgeable staff.

Get off the palmetto expressway (826) on bird road, all the LFS are on the north side of bird. East of 826, you have 3 in about a miles distance. And west of 826 you have sophisticated between 82 ave and 87 ave. Also on your way back from the keys up US1 there is another couple of shops.

I'm afraid my tank ATM has little to offer and I am nowhere near where you will be. But I am sure others from South Florida will eventually chime in

i cant we are a LFS but you can swing by our ware house were we do all our build and ...of course the corals ....:bigsmile:
