I'd love suggestions for good purple corals!

I'm in Jacksonville, Fl. I'm being guided by a great local saltwater shop.

Previous freshwaters were:
55g w/parrot cichlids, loaches, and musk turtle
38g w/ parrot cichlids, loaches
Pretty much loved parrot cichlids and really love clown loaches.
And current freshwater-
5g w/ black moor goldfish

Once the tank is cycled I may have a few items you may be interested in that I would like to get rid of. Couple of soft corals and maybe a few lps. Good free beginner stuff

Thanks for the vote of confidence @Diesel ... not sure I am worthy at this point! ;)

@MsAmethyst, you can read through my journeys here ... As you can see there has been 2 of them and I have learned a ton along the way and still have a ton to learn.
I have a mentor ... aka: The FishBF (that is what my lil' one calls him :rolleyes:) and having him help/advise has been key!!!

Like Blackhawk said, some zoas/palys and mushrooms have the purple tone. Google purple deaths. Grow easy & can be found for cheap. Also, if you can find the purple plating photosynthetic sponge, it looks great and is a super fast grower.

Only was told to take out the Bioballs to start. Still have stock everything else.

I'm seeing that a lot of people have made upgrades and nice setups.

Still learning the lingo and which upgrades do what.
