I had 4 floridia mushrooms in my tank. One disappeared a few weeks ago. I noticed tonight that two more have disappeared...
I dont think I have anything that would eat the entire things, but I haven't any idea where they could have gone. I have a Yuma shroom colony nearby, and it looks fine?

Any ideas?

they could have detached and are now somewhere hiding in or on your liverock maybe?

I had a whole colony of them disappear overnight in the same way.....had them for over a year. I never found out what caused them to disintegrate so quickly.
That is weird...I know they can detach, but I normally dont see them go far.
And I doubt any animal in the tank would suddenly decide to eat all of them...

They are still in there.
In the rocks somewhere. I've had many disappear, and find them months later when they've grown out.

Only time I had mushrooms disappear overnight is when I brought in BJD from torches, and it got to the mushrooms and they melted. Otherwise they probably just detached and floated somewhere into rock work (also not great news).

They will die failry easy from a few things. Carbon dosing, peroxide dosing, and super high light.

I was cleaning rocks, and I did find a mushroom that "fell off". The thing is...this one looks nothing like the others that went missing. Its almost a lime green, and the others were a dark green, blue, or purple.
