Can I use this pump for my return pump on my sump outside of it? It's a utility pump from home depot rated for 350 gallons per hour.

I wouldn't for a few reasons:
A) It doesn't sound like it is meant for continuous use.
B) Non-standard plumbing connections could be a pain to work with.
C) It doesn't explicitly state it can be used in marine environments, I would be worried about exposed metals in it.

It was recently used as a pump for a pond for a very long time with nothing living inside running 7 hours a day with no problems. But with the fact that it also states that it needs to be oiled every start up seems like it would fail really quickly.
