So have currently have a jebao scp-150 gyre-

Mixed reef-los/soft/zoa
Feel like the gyre nust pushes water to the far side and then steady under current along sandbed back to gyre-not sure if digging that flow is ‘t really random, if i ahould switch up to mp40 or something else…


Looking for feedback in placement and how many others with larger aquariums have for powerheads

Corals seem ok-so nothing seems broke

For reference, I have a 120g mixed, and I run 2 MP40's on opposite sides of the tank.

I run 4 gyres on my 180 gallon. One on each end, and two on back glass going forward. All set to random

I would definitely try to use two of them opposite each other…. I had two extra from another tank project so I used those also. It does help to get that randomness
