Some people set up the flow in their tanks so that detritus collects on one spot and then can be easily siphoned out as its all together.

Do you all like this strategy? Dont like it for some reason? If I have decent flow and sand sifting critters is it still worthwhile?

I'm sure there are threads on this but I had a hard time searching for them.

I don’t think this method will work with sand. I currently run a Neptune WAV along the lower back wall behind the rocks in a 50g lagoon. This along with two 6095 and a wave box keeps all detritus suspended for the most part. However if I had sand I would never be able to have this much flow. So to answer your question... I do love this strategy, only downside is no sand and no, I don’t think it’s worth your wile with sand sifting critters. You would have to remove them and your sand which will likely result in more headaches and larger issues then it’s worth.
