Flow for 6 foot tank

I’m looking for some advice on what wave makers to buy for a 6 foot tank. All recommendations are appreciated but I’m most likely not interested in ecotechs or anything that’s going to cost over 200 dollars per pump. Help is appreciated, thanks!

I would look into some gyres for a 6 foot tank. You will be able to get some used ones on here for under 200.

Do you have a sump on it? I have a 6 foot long 150 g and I had alot of trouble with flow until I got a dual bulkhead overflow and a big return pump it helps alot.

Dual returns with COR20's plus 3 RedSea Reefwave 45's & 2 MP40's on my 78" tank.

Are you running dual returns? I have a planned 6' build with dual returns and 1" random flow generators. The return pump will be the Sicce SDC 9.0. For wavemakers I have two Sicce SDC Wavemakers. If I need more flow, I can bring my Current EFlux wavemakers online from the existing tank.

I have a 6 foot peninsula and I have one jebae cp90 crossflow top left on the end pulsing across the surface. This causes a gyre affect. Then I have 2 other powerheads at the other end half way down. One is a cheap 3000lph powerhead on constant blasting against the flow of the cross flow opposite. This causes turbulence . Then at the same end I have a reef flow 15000lph blasting right the way across the centre of the tank again clashing with the gyre and disrupting the flow. This turns on for 15 seconds and off for 15 seconds but is only on 10% power as its too strong.

A big gyre like the jebao cp90 or cp150 would do your tank well with an additional medium jabeo powerhead down the opposite end on random mode would be a great starting point for you. I'm a fan of jebao. Great value.

Ya I was thinking of putting a scp -120 on the end opposite the overflow and 1 or 2 smaller ones on the other side.
