Flow for 6ft Tank with 1'' glass thickness!

Hello R2R,

I'm looking for flow suggestions for a 72''x20''x16'' acrylic tank that will be 1'' thickness. Unfortunately, MP magnets won't hold up and I'm not sure if the larger Maxspect gyres will... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

1" thick is going to be tough. I don't think the Red Sea ReefWave magnets would work, either.

Can't put them inside tank, would just replace the outside (dry side) magnets. got this from another thread on same topic. Worlds strongest rare earth magnets.

mp60’s will be plenty for that tank AND will work for 1”

MP60’s. Gyre XF350’s I’d say no.

Why 1” thick? Are you afraid the fish may have guns and try and shoot their way out? I think a closed loop system would personally be my choice. Acrylic is easy to drill.
