In my nuvo 60 I have been running reefcrest and tidal swell at 50 and 40% between 2 mp10s and constant flow at night. It has resulted it little sucess through 90 days and no growth with my LPS corals including torch, frogspawn, duncan, candy cane. I switche sit up to lagoon flow and tidal swell at 10 percent lower intensity was that a good idea?

I feel like my euphyllia and Duncan's were slow to start growing but once they started to they grew rapidly from there

Is there enough flow that you see their polyps moving without being blasted?

It's hard to tell your flow as the pump covers are clogged up and the pump is blowing the covers off. I would only use the cover if I had a nem walking around the tank, they restrict flow when full and it doesn't take long for them to clog up. Nice looking set up though.

I clean them off once every other week this happens so I will get to it again. Just wonderig though what should I do?

Why do use the covers to begin with? It clogs up with food then nitrates build up then hair algae grows. People don't use foam filters as they become nitrate factories Have you tried just leaving them off?
