Flow for tideline 47 gallon aquarium

The inside of the tank is a bit similar to a 40 gallon breeder in length. I currently have a 1250 powerhead, 375 gph return pump and a hydor koralia nano 425. The 1250 is way too much I dont know what possesed me to get it. Would replacing the 1250 with something like a 500 or 700? be more optimal?

For supplemental flow, you typically want between 10-20x (total) your tank size.
