One of my constant issues is finding the right flow for my trachy. It seems that if it feels any flow at all it will not expand for the day. I do not have a high flow tank. In fact, I don't even have a powerhead. Just a 500 GPH return pump in my 25 gallon Lagoon.

Does anyone else have this issue? I have read that they need a decent amount of flow to keep healthy, but this one is not a fan.

usually medium flow is fine. I’d say as long as it’s not in the direct path of your return pump it should be fine. I’d just put on the opposite side of the return and leave it there for 2 weeks and see how it does.
