I am looking for some help with powerheads in my new 180G. I currently have two Reefwave 45 Gyres, two MP40QDs and a jeabo rw8 and I am not impressed with the flow in my tank. I have a relatively minimal amount of rockwork but even with all the pumps cranked up to 100% the motion in my tank seems to be less than I hoped for. Especially when I read other people's posts about having to run their pumps at 60%. I have a couple of hammers in the tank and they gently sway. Definitely not the flow I want for the SPS. I am running bare bottom so I am not worried about sand blowing around.

I have one reefwave on each end of my tank pointing toward each other and two MP40s on the back wall and a small jeabo rw8 on the back bottom corner blowing across the backside of the rocks.

What is everyone using on their 180Gs?

I am thinking of maybe reconfiguring the pumps and having the Reefwave pointing front to back and the Mp40s side to side. I really don't want to add more pumps so I am curious what everyone else has had success with. Maybe I need to reevaluate what I am using. Not sure if what I really need is two Mp60s or Tunze 6255s or if I should dump the Gyres and get two more Mp40s or if the reality is I just need more pumps.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Here is a picture of my rock work. Its a pic from when I first setup the tank not showing the current pumps.

Anyone have experience with the Neptune WAV's they are attractive cause of the single thin wire vs some of the other options. I can get two pretty cheap.

If I had that tank, I would use a pair of Tunze 6105s and probably a wavebox too. You have plenty of flow. All that I keep is acropora and clams.
