Flow help

What are your thoughts on the Orbit 2 Cross-Flow Pump? I have an Innovative Marine 40L. I am thinking about putting one orbit on the right side near the middle of the glass, and then a Nero 3 on the left side. Would I even need 2 power heads? Thoughts?

Depends on what you are growing. I am all about flow. My 40g cube has two returns from a RO Varios4, A gyre, a MP40 and a MP10. That is in a space of 24"x19

on my IM 30L I run two MP10's either side (which is my LPS/softie tank) . but having one being a laminar flow would be nice.

I agree I also like flow, my 40 breeder has 2 gyres in it. My 15 gallon softie tank has 2 powerheads, its very hard to get good random flow from just one powerhead. Only one powerhead usually end up with a one way linear flow with lots of dead spots.

I am taking down one of my tanks and it has Nero 3. I am gonna use that. Maybe put it on the back and let it hit the front of the glass
