Hey everyone!

I have a standard 29 Gallon Tank

I have a Hydor 425 and 240. I also have a wp10.

I am getting a lot of detritus in the rocks and on the sand. What would you recommend for how to setup the flow.

As you can kinda see in the picture. the wp10 is at the top right closest to the front. The 425 is behind in the top right back. The 240 is to the top left in the front. B

What would you recommend on how to set it up?

I keep mine at 2/3 of the way up on my tanks. You could try that and see how you like it. It seems to keep things stirred up in my tanks.

Try and get some upcurrent. Here's what I would try.
Put the 240 in the back left bottom corner pointing up.
Then take your wp10, put it towards the upper rear of the tank pointing at the opposite corner.
Then take your 425 and leave it where it is (front left corner), but point it towards the wp10.

Try that out of a couple days, may have to slightly adjust. If you don't like that, take your 425, point it across the front glass and point the wp10 across the back glass to get a circular flow going. I would leave the 240 at the bottom pointing up.

And also, make sure you have good surface agitation for good gas exchange.

Thank you all. I'll give this a try and see how it helps

Flow is something that I constantly change from week to week or month to month. It's all how the tank/corals react. Some of the changes might not be drastic, but I also like to change up the flow to make sure I get the fewest deadspots.

I put the two hydors on the bottom corners blowing across the sand and up. I then put the wp10 on the right side 3/4 up the tank blowing straight across the top
