Flow Idea for a 180 gallon

Although I do NOT have a peninsula, I am trying to eliminate the need for power heads on the left side of my 180 (6'x2'x2' - 3/4" glass) display. It is a new tank going through the cycle and I am wondering what my best options are. I was thinking something like this, however it may counter the intention of the Gyre (thinking of trying the new Red Sea)? Ultimately I will have SPS, LPS and maybe some soft coral. Any feedback is appreciated. Please forgive my poor art skills.....

Anyone have any ideas on how to get the best flow with potentially not placing powerheads on the left side? Maybe just 4 Apex wavs on the back (Never placed power heads on the back, usually try to create waves side to side)? I am really interested in the gyre, however curious on others feedback......
