Hello all,
I have an Innovative Marine 150 Lagoon EXT coming soon. The dimensions of this tank are 48x36x21 LxWxH. I want all three clear sides to be completely visible, and hopefully devoid of any equipment. However, there are some specifications in the stocking for this tank that complicates things. Firstly, I want to have a true mixed reef, with soft corals, LPS, a clam, and acros/sps separated by islands/bommes. Secondly, I want to devote a section in the front of the tank to a colony of garden eels. The stocking of this tank will be focused around the eels, avoiding large boisterous fish. I also want a gyre to flow over the eels, giving them more time to get food, and I just like them in general. Which of these two options would you all prefer? And would I need more flow from the back wall, or would this be enough?
