As the title suggests, I was wondering if I need to maintain constant flow in my AWC reservoir. I've seen some videos where there doesn't seem to be any pump of any kind in the SW reservoir. Thoughts?

I don't and it doesn't seem to negatively affect anything. On the other hand, I have thought of putting in an airstone for gas exchange and passive flow. My NSW reservoir is not airtight. I would wonder if I see any benefits but I am certain it would not hurt and could only help.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll go without initially and see how it goes. I'd like to keep evaporation to a minimum.

I have a small power head in my NSW brute. Probably not necessary.
