Flow in my 60 gallon

What's the rule on flow rate? I've heard 10X 15X the total volume. Do you count the return pump? Currently running a 60g with a 30g Sump, sump only runs about 15g. 1 MP10 and a 500gph seio and my return is a Mag 7 going up 4 feet.

It depends on what type of corals you'll be keeping. 10-20 is good for LPS and softies and the sky is the limit for sps. I have 2 koralia 4s and 2 mp10s in my 75 gallon sps and I could add more flow if I had the space. Just make sure to keep it random and don't directly blast corals with powerheads.

I'm running a mag7 on my 75, mp 40, and koralia 3. Any more and my sand would be everywhere

I have a Eco1056gph return, 2xHydor evo 750s (Just purchased a MP40 which it will be replacing both of those hydors)
