I have a 4 foot quarentine tank with a mesh divider in the centre. I'm soon hoping to quarentine 2 tangs , one in each section.

They have lots of pipes for hiding in and a canister filter with media from my main sump. I also have a powerhead aimed at the surface

I have a couple of spare cheap powerheads laying around. Would tangs feel more comfortable with increased flow or am I better off just sticking to the one powerhead for surface agitation?

Good question, Flow in a system is always good. I would suggest now overpowering the flow so that the Tangs can swim without getting blown around.

Maybe someone in #reefsquad has better advice?

At the minute there is almost no flow in the QT tank. It was just a thought..I want them to be as comfortable as possible!
