Flow matters?

Hey reefers,

I have the jebao RW8 (2x) and I was cleaning them and came up with a question. What flow pattern do you find most effective ? Is there any type of flow pattern/pulse you recommend specifically for the RW8's or for any wave maker that resembles the real ocean or that helps with growth? I'm curious to hear your answers thanks!

I've got two RW15 across from each other in a 90g. Run at three seconds each, alternating with jBWave controller. Does pretty well for me

When I used to have 2 Wp-10s I had them on opposite ends running in Else. Now I've got 2 MP40s and have them in Reef Crest in sync. The randomness of Else and Reef Crest seem to be imo the best because of the non linear flow pattern.

I have mine set to reef, it basically ramps up and down randomly, I found it provided better wave motion in my tank than on and off
