I am about to embark on the base aquascape for my 180 reef build. I want to allow for a variety of “flow zones” within the tank to accommodate the needs of corals. What are some good ways to visualize the way the rock work will interact with the powerheads? I almost wish there was a way to test the flow out kind of like smoke in a wind tunnel to really fine tune things.

Thanks in advance for any advice...

Maybe Google neutrally buoyant beads. Came up with these on Amazon,
