Just got my shallow 35g reef going. Most things swapped over from my 14g biocube, but added two cerameco fixtures and some little livestock over the last few weeks. I have had it running with a jebao wp25 on its lowest setting with lowest pulse as the main source of flow. I really wanted more of a wave motion though so I decided to bounce it off a rock and it seems to have the effect I want, but wanted to get some feedback before leaving it as is.
Additional flow you'll notice is from a koralia 240, and ac70(turned down). I run the ac70 all the time, as well as the koralia, but I kill the wp25 at night. So it usually runs from 7am to 9pm, and off for 10min for feeding time. Feather duster seems fine, fish seem fine with my clowns seeming to really like it. Only change really is that the frogspawn doesn't open 100% as it usually does with very little flow. Although he did open a bit more that what you'll see in the video. Looking in the tank it looks as how I had imagined. However looking at the water level on the top of the tank, it seems like a whole lot of water flow.
