Flow question

I have a 125 6ft x 2ft x 2ft tank with a center overflow box I have 1 jebao rw15 set half way on pulse mode on one end and a hydor 550 says max 600gph on the pump I feel like I'm getting dead spot but not real sure how to know for sure I do get build-up on the rocks from sand stiring but I see other tanks stuff in there just whipping around mine barely rocks all my rock is against the back glass or overflow box I have a few other powerheads any advice would help

I've hear of taking a skewer and attaching a ribbon of some sort to the end and moving around your tank to check for dead spots. Kinda like putting a ribbon on an ac vent to see when it is blowing air.

Then if do find dead spots can adjust the power heads accordingly. Or add if needed.

An FTS would help. I like to use the turkey baster and watch the dust flow or feed a lil heavy w brine or eggs and look at the flow.
and honestly if its not a truly dead spot, I just buy a low flow coral for it

My concern is you can see my green slimer on the frag rack it has no polyp extension I just have never gotten the flow dialed in since setting this tank up in a hurry used what I had kinda thing the rw15 blows hard but it's just not circulating imo

It depends on what your stock is for flow. I know that much, as to what your particular requirements may be, I'm unsure and would think someone else may be better to answer that question. I personally run a maxspect gyre 150 at 60% on a 110 (48x18x30) with a small wp 10 opposite to just throw some randomness in there. Mainly LPS and softie. The one acro I have loves the flow (it's tiny as it was a tester to see how my system would do with acro)

I think your frag rack is in the wrong place in the tank for higher turbulant flow frags. Its likely in the middle where the two streams meet.
And call me a Ludite, but I think math is wrong sometimes, I look at the animals and the flow it prefers. The math has merit for turnover, yes, but I think the animal knows best and rock work is a major factor. Thank goodness for DC heads.

You have a pretty open rockwork so your two heads and a return should work. But probably too small. No I have never had a 6' tank either, but my 4' 55 has 2 wp25's (800-2000) , and its almost too much. If you do the dust test, check it out, and if you offset the two heads it should create a crossing current. I love the ELSE mode to. its a little tricky to dial in as it changes constantly.
I like the WPs too as it has a big "mouth" to move a larger water vol if at a sometimes lower GPH.

PS I have 2 rw8 heads w the old controllers so the give less flow I guess. Perfect for my little 30 cube.
