So my tank is almost 3 months old. I’m a little confused about how much flow i need in my tank. I have a few lps And a couple zoas that are growing and doing good. I have a 50 gallon lagoon tank. I just put a jaebo slow 20 power head in it. It is rated for 10000 liters and hour with I think is 2700 gph and my return pump is 475 gp. Is this plenty of flow? How high should I turn up the wavemaker? I want to keep mostly lps. I have 1 monti and want to add more in future. What looks like a lot of flow to me might be the right amont or not enough.

I would get one more just for more random flow, they aren’t very expensive. I was thinking about ordering one tonight myself for some extra random flow.
Montis like a lot of flow, they grow very thin and brittle if they don’t have enough flow.

Most LPS and especially ZOAs need low gentle flow. I've melted away HUNDREDS of dollars in zoas with too much flow. They get irritated by high flow, shrivel and melt away

I guess I’m just confused on how much I should turn up the powerhead
