I am going to be upgrading my power heads, two of the 850gph korlias. I'm wondering if I should get two of the 1050's or if I should keep one 850 and add one of the korlia 5's at 1650gph? I can up grade the other 850 later. Thanks

I would go with two Evolutions 1050's. I have two of the 1400's in my 60" long 100G and the flow is pretty good but not so drastic to move the 5-6" Southdown Deep Sand Bed around. On the flip side I has a Evolutions Nano 425 and an older K1 in my 16G bowfront nano and the flow doesn't seem to be enough.

is the tank sps dominate, if so you could upgrade to the k5's and have pumps good enough for when you upgrade to a bigger tank, or if you dont plan on upgrading to a bigger tank you could go with the 1050gph pumps and be fine.

The tank will be a mix LPS and SPS. I know I will be up grading in the future. I am already thinking of taking down my 100g planted FW and swapping it with he 75g reef.
I'm thinking of going with the 1 k5. Do you think it will be to over powering for a 75?

I have four K-1050's and a modified maxi-jet in a 75g, and it is almost not enough! I suggest two 1400's. That will give you more directional variance capabilities as well as redundancy, should one fail.
