So I have a red sea reefer 750, 160g 6 foot tank. I currently am running two tunze nanostream 6095 pumps on each side (2500 gph max) and one nanostream on the back wall on max pointed up for gas exchange. I have never really been happy with the flow in my tank, I don't have any corals right now besides a duncan but I do want to start with SPS soon.
My question is, I can't do sps with my current amount of flow, correct? I feel it may be too low because I don't run the nanostreams at max all day, they are in varying different configs depending on the time.
Second question: would two of the new gyre xf350 pumps (max flow 5280 each) be sufficient for sps? I am considering getting rid of my tunze pumps and going for the gyre, thanks for any input.
