Flow rate for hammer coral and feeding?

Hey guys i recently got a hammer coral and it is a huge piece but had lost 20% tentacles at lfs so got it for cheap.
What do I feed it?

Its this flow ok?

Rw15 and Rw8 wavemakers in my 130g

to be honest, I rarely if ever purposely feed mine. mine like a current that makes them wiggle. not too much more than that. they can adjust to high light as well. mine love the 150-250 par range.

I don't target feed mine either and it quadrupled in size in a year. In my opinion the flow is on the high end but it seems happy so don't start changing stuff. If it shrivels up more then turn It down a tad.

Has it lost any more flesh? When mine start going south like this they pretty much go all the way!

In my experience, once you come to this "stage" where a decent part of flesh is gone...like here. They are usually goners, they can hold a couple of weeks but eventually they let go slowly.

Feeding does not always help... I recently had a lobo that I was trying to "nurse" back to health, and eventually the feeding response stopped and it just melted away. The same was happening with this red trumpet coral, so I fragged it up and all of the frags are still alive. But, I think when you purchase them in bad health it's hit or miss either way.

Current is fine looking at the video. No doubt they like to get spot fed every once in a while. Drops some pellets in there. I use LPS pellets and sometime I just drop in the fish food pellets. My hammers are out of control and I have to take 20-30 heads to the LFS once every 3 months just to keep them from overgrowing the tank and sucking up all the nutrients. Try some pellets and if it's gets' worse, frag a head and move it to a slower flow, yes even slower than you have now.

The hammer is too dam thick, its a 6" ball. If i tru fragging it, i guess it'll get more damaged

Wall? Its not the branching hammer.

Yea, there are branching and wall Euphyllia. This one looks like a wall type, which are less resilient to fragging than the branching type.

Whats your water parameters? I'd be more concerned with that then flow or feeding. IME, my hammers and frogspawn don't get fed.

Yes.. thts why i dont feel like fragging. However the polyp extension is good.

Keeping my fingers crossed and feeding it daily. My Tang keeps pooping in it.. lol.. hopefull thats healthy for it..
