Hi I'm new to the forum and new to the hobby (aside from one half hearted attempt). I'm trying to do it right this time and do all my research which brings me here.

After research I have been looking at the jebao's. They fit in my price range and I like the controllability. My question is, am I better off running 2 rw4 or 1 rw8? Plan on keeping a mixed reef and trying everything but this will be primarily a LPS/softie tank. Any insight is appreciated :)

A single rw8 should more than enough for softies. However, I would recommend going with the two rw4s for a few reasons. You'll get more flow options, redundancy if one seizes up, and better coverage to kick up the dead stuff like leftover food and fish waste.
