Hi everyone!
I have a 30 gallon nouveau cube tank.
So stock it comes with a flow tube in the Center of the tank.
I have added a magnetic circulator, to one of the sides.
Over the course of a year and a half, I have acquired many more corals. ( total addict..[emoji16]) And some of them I have read prefer "high flow".
How high is high? Do I need one on the other side? Is there a better direction to point these things… What is the best thing to do with square tank?
Is there way to calculate how much Floyd have now versus how much I need?

it really depends on what kind of flow your currently getting.
any chance you can post a short video to help us get a better idea?

Remember that a lot of coral dont like direct flow.
If it were me I would put a small powerhead on each side both pointing to the top center area. That will give you turbulent flow and not direct flow.

Sweet. I am at work now but will take a video later. I'm not sure what counts as a small powerhead. This looks small? For a 30 gallon tank… I will throw out the name of the power head and a video later tonight. Thanks again!

That makes sense. Should I play some towards the bottom facing up or where mine is now (3-4 inches below the surface) and just point them up?

The closer to the top will make more back current going down the back side of the tank. Mine are about 6 inches down to minimize the drastic back flow.
An easy way to tell your flow is when you feed your tank feed it at the front of the tank in the center and watch which direction the food goes.
