I have two jebao pp8's in my tank and they are turned all the way up. I am getting movement in all areas of the tank but I was lead to believe these powerheads would blow sand everywhere in a 90 gallon yet mine do not. Did I get two defective ph?

PP8 is right for your tank. I use SW15 in my 180 and at full power they can blow sand around easily.

Well, where I had them before I wasn't really getting enough flow through the middle. Now I'm not getting enough flow in the bottom back corners......frustrating.

Thats why they call it the sweet spot. Because when you mess with it everything goes to you know what! LOL! Jebao's are great until they take a dependable dump on you. Proceed with caution.

Yeah I am fully expecting them to have short lives. The question is will I keep replacing them for cheap or spend the money on ecotech stuff that I won't have to replace. Still haven't made my mind up yet.

Those powerheads are one of the best in my opinion. I've head mine for 3 years. Yet to have any issues. If you wanna add more flow look at the ice cap gyre. Great powerheads

I actually moved them around and found a good spot. I have them cranked up almost all the way and the water seems to be moving really well. The sand is staying put too.
