Hi

I run a red dragon speedy 3 min 5 m3 on my system. Now i have startet my fmm modul from Apex and the reading from my 1" flow sensor says that it runs about 1500l pr hour atm. Its running at almost full speed atm
It seems realy low? It’s almost newly set up

Make sure you have the right sensor enabled for the FFM input you’re using. What’s the native on the speedy output? 1” sensor put quite a bit of friction onto the pump.

I have take it apart both pump and flowmeter. Dident help. Is ther realy that much resistans?

Yeah those Paddle wheel flow sensors take away a lot of your flow. Thats why Vortex sensors are used by most companies that make flow meters. They have very little impact on flow and it has no moving parts to get gunked up and go bad. They also do not need to be cleaned very often. Only downside is that they are maybe twice the price for the sensor.

ok that sucks. Prehaps i should get rid of it

Sorry to be the bearer of that bad news.
Unfortunately it’s part of the ecosphere of products you bought into. There are independent third party flow meter systems but they are expensive.
