I have a 90 gal display with the over flow on one end and the jeabo crossflow wave maker on the other end .

I have recently thought I might have it up too high on w1 and lowered the flow at 7

I turned it down to 3 and still getting a lot of movement at the surface but I’m worried the sps on the top won’t be getting the same amount of slow they need .

There is a few euphillia frags placed mid to bottom and catching a little flow as it circulates around .

I'm not sure what your question is...

In my experience, the only bad thing that happens with too much flow where corals are concerned is that they may not open if the coral in question prefers a gentle flow.

Generally speaking, flow should be chaotic. All power heads shouldn't be pointed in the same direction, but at each other to create a random flow.

I have a 3' long tank with a MP10 on each side pointed at each other. I have them turned down below 50 percent and it provides a turbulent and random flow.

It’s only one wave maker ( jeabo crossflow )
Running at around 30% on w1 mode .
