I recently read a comment in another forum saying the flow in a tank should be about 20x tank size with power heads and everything...any input on this? I generally just say its never too much unless sand is flowing around in water column. I calculated my flow with power heads and return and between my mp40, koralia 3, and mag9.5 I am at 63x for a 75 gallon. Holy cow! What's your input, experience, and flow on your tanks?!
but finally got it dialed in according to my corals lol. I thought i had read 30-50x turn over is ideal
BUT - i have a total of 400gph flowing thru it right now. so 40x turn over right? Koralia 240 (240gph), Rio 60 (60gph) and AC20 (100gph)
