Ok , hi friends , so there is so much information on flow. Can anyone just answer if this sounds ok ? I have a 20 gallon tall nano reef. So, they say 10 times the gallons so a 20 would only be 200 ? My tidal 55 HOB puts out 250 on full but I don’t have it on full. I also have 2 eflex powerheads. Each 660 set at 20 % each so that is 134gph each plus half the filter flow. So I’m guessing I’m running like 268 plus like 125 so a total of 393. Say 400. Is that good enough and not too much. Thanks for any straight answers

The amount of flow that you want will be dependent on what you want to keep in the tank. If keeping sps corals then a ton of flow is desired but if keeping softies you won’t want as much.
It doesn’t sound like too much to me

There's flow inside the tank provided by the powerheads and then there's "turnover" which is the amount of times the water is filtered. Your numbers are all mixed together and without context. What are you going for?

A trumpet
A pink cabbage
5 Yuma mushrrooms
A Kenya tree with so platy zoas
A tiny Xenia
A Duncan
It’s my third round of corrals. , but I never crashed it. I finally have a handle. I hope. The trumpet has been with me since day one lol. I mean thanks. I feel like it’s reasonable flow. I’m just doing my best and determined to master this madness I really believe that the bigger the better . It’s been hard in this small 20 but I wanted to practice small.. wish me luck
