Flower Coral Piece

What is this it looks like a polyp from my Flower coral witch I think is an Alveopora Coral if anyone can tell me what this is or any reason why this polyp came off of the Flower coral this would be helpful thanks!

Cool. Looks more like a hammer coral to me in the picture, but hopefully it will grow out big enough to see what it is clearly!
I love these things!.
