Hi! If you have experience with hammers, frogspawn, or Octospawn place it there. These corals have very similar environmental needs. I find that feeding goni/alveopora has been very beneficial

I have 2 (you can see them in my build thread) - months old - doing fine - without feeding - (except what they get when I feed the fish) - If you can borrow a PAR meter - that might be nice. Frankly - I would think that you may have problems (Hopefully not) - with that coral in a 13.5 gallon tank - only because (depending on the variaty) - they can grow exceptionally large. When fully extended - mine are about - 10 inches in diameter.

BTW - you shoudl post a picture
. is it a red one or a green one - long tentacle or short? They are really fun to have when they do well. Good news is I have found them to be pretty hardy - lots of people seem to have problems

here's a picture, I got it yesterday but its still not fully open.
There are so many different goniopora out there is is hard to say. They can have a pretty decent range.
Smaller polyp or shorter tentacle gonis usually prefer higher flow than those that has longer tentacles.
Also encrusting usually prefer higher flow too.
There not all the same.
